Walk of Peace: Travels of a Voyager

Life has a way of beckoning, of pulling, pushing, and catapulting us peoples in all sorts of directions. To magical places, and mystical oceans… a journey west to a golden state, of being, of love, and of ecstasy has my being tingling with giddiness.

Life, love, and the world ‘round is of such splendor.

Being gifted opportunities to stop and smell all the roses, sway with every tree bough and limb, leap as the salty ocean ebbs, flows, let sand and dirt squish through our toes, and smile with all that comprises the journey, is true magic of this earth. Every leaf and stone, bough and sky, river ebbing, flowing, remind us extraordinary beings, experiences, are always, forever, in constant existence.

Love in this moment.

Smell the sweet salty breaths of time, of space. Close your eyes and see the mystical nature of your being. Who you are is merely an experience, a perspective of time itself. As you relish in this youness, be happy if you wish.

Happiness is available right in this present moment. We already are what we want to become. It’s like a wave who goes looking to get in touch with the vastness of water. When we realize water already is our own true nature, our very substance, we no longer need to go looking elsewhere for it. Everywhere you turn, life is full of wonders. There is no need to rush, for all that may wish to be sought is already right here, within and all around us; and the same is true of happiness. Thich Nhat Hanh

Breathe in this moment and experience a sense of contentment and joy washing through your being.

You are here.

You are now.

You are wonderful.

You are loved.

As you breathe in, you take a few steps; and during those seconds you notice that you are alive, that your legs and your feet are still strong enough to walk (and climb, and run). You realize that to be alive, and walking on this beautiful planet, is already a miracle. And you can delight in this miracle as you walk, as you breathe. In any moment, you can touch the miracle of life, and become joyful and happy right where you are. Thich Nhat Hanh
